(9-12 year olds)
Girls & Boys Love of Learning Class: Tuesdays from 1:00pm-3:00pm.
Classes begin September 1st, 2026
Where: 851 N 700 E., Mapleton, UT
Cost: $250 per semester per student ($500 per year) + $50 registration fee to secrure your student's spot.
We can accept cash, check, or Venmo (@AngelaLiddle).
Parent & Student Orientation is TBA (usually a week before class starts).
Classes are limited to 12 students for each class.
Additional funds should be personally allocated for the purchasing of books, notebooks, binder, and basic supplies for class. Receipts for reimbursement are available upon request as well.

Our Mission

This weekly class is geared to children ages 9-11 years old.
In the Love of Learning class, we strive to build friendships and self confidence through a focus on crucial principles and positive group environment to learn and teach each other in a feast of subjects that will deepen and expand our desire to learn more about the world around us.
The classes split the boys and the girls into separate groups so that we can cater to the unique gifts and talents of each gender that will empower them in their quest to embrace the values and principles of becoming their very best selves!
These classes are taught by our older youth mentors while being overseen and guided by the adult lead mentors the whole time. The classes will be happening simultaneously at the same time and in the same location and we may occasionally combine together for joint games and activities.
Every month, we will be focused on one principle or value. We will reenforce with a monthly book that they will read on their own and discuss together, presentations for the kids to share their own understanding and share their voice, hero visits from locals, service projects, and a variety of fun activities meant to spark a love for learning and add to the breadth of their educational experience this year! We will have an Evening of Sharing at the end of the semester where the students can share with their families some of the valuable things that they have learned about becoming person of influence & integrity.
The Love of Learning phase is such a fun time to be a part of a class like this! We will be working on lots of hands-on activities including handicrafts, team building games, nature time, and even sword fights (with foam swords) for the boys, and monthly tea parties for the girls! Poetry, uplifting stories, and music will be woven into the experience in a way that will inspire their love for multiple subjects and build unity and friendships with others in our community around their same ages.
