Our Purpose

Come join this fun new class for children ages 5-8 years of age! You are already doing wonderful things to support your child in their educational journey at home…this is just an additional support for them to get little "tastes" of learning through more play and interacting with new friends around their same age in a weekly class-like environment and have a chance to discuss basic life values through stories with each other.

 

The main thing this age of children need is PLAY and exploring to help spark that love of learning in natural fun ways. Each class day will look different than the week before, though some core focuses will be consistent each week like bright spots, poetry, sharing time, and music that build specific skills as a class. I believe that a variety in topics and experience will keep this being a class that they look forward to being a part of each week! We will have 1-2 "windows" of learning each class period and these are some of the topics we may pull from to experience together throughout the semester:

 

*Read aloud picture books in science, history, fairy tales, and other heart-warming books that teach core values and principles.

*Music in multiple ways: singing, bells, body rhythm, music appreciation, etc.

*Art & handcrafts

*Group & educational games appropriate to their age level

*Dress-ups and play acting

*Geography and country culture

*Cooking/baking in fun ways

*Building & creating with blocks, marble runs, and other materials for small projects

*Team-building skills as a class

*Nature time outside in both play and observation of trees, plants, bugs, etc as is available for the season.

*Playtime as a class outside, but really all of this will feel like playtime!  (trampoline, swings, wiggle cars, jump rope, etc.)

INFORMATION:

 

When: Wednesdays from 9:30am-11:30am (2 hours). This class is full

        

Classes begin September 3rd, 2025 (2nd semester begins January 14th)

Where: 851 N 700 E., Mapleton, UT

Cost: $200 per semester per student

 

$50 registration fee is due to secure your student's spot. This is applied to their 1st semester's tuition. $150 due the before first day of the semester. I can accept cash, check, or Venmo (@AngelaLiddle) 

 

Class is limited to 10-12 students). 12 weeks per semester is guaranteed. 2nd semester can have up to 16 weeks but has some flexibility if needed. 

The cost covers the time and effort on the Lead Mentor's part and a variety of materials used throughout each semester including the end of semester parties and Evening of Sharing. Receipts can also be issued upon request.
